Collection for Shaler Area Backpack Initiative
During the month of August, we will be collecting items for the Shaler Area Backpack Initiative. You can drop off donations any time between now and August 30.
Bake Sale
We will be selling baked goods at the Shaler Community Yard Sale on Saturday, September 12 from 8:00 AM to noon at Kiwanis Park. All proceeds will support the Deacons’ ongoing mission work.
Adult Education Classes
We will resume classes on September 20. Back by popular demand, we will return to our series called The Wired Word. All are welcome.
The Neighborhood Table
Our next GPC mission service event at the Neighborhood Table will be held on Thursday, September 10 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
New Mission and Outreach Initiative
The Mission and Outreach Committee will be starting a new community engagement and strengthening initiative in the coming months.
