What our parents are saying…
“We have loved our experience at GPECC. My daughter is always so happy when we pull up to the building to go and see her friends. The teachers do an excellent job at coming up with monthly learning schedules, weekly themes, and activities for the kids. The handmade art crafts are just the sweetest and we save them all.”

“Our daughter has been at the Center since she was 3 months old, she is now 4. During these past several years our daughter has thrived. The care she receives is first rate and I know that the staff care for the children in the way they would care for their own children. My daughter has strong connections with the teachers and other children in her group which wouldn’t exist if the staff didn’t have outstanding interaction with her. At each stage of her growth the Center has been there to support her struggles and celebrate her wins. Now in the pre-school room she has learned the alphabet, all colors and shapes, how to spell her name and many other beginning learning skills. I recommend the Center to anyone that is looking for childcare for their staff.”

“My daughter and son both attended Glenshaw ELC. The teachers are kind and patient and approachable. We value open communication and transparency and always feel comfortable going to the teachers with any concerns or questions. The staff have worked well with us during difficult times and we appreciate the support.”

“The Glenshaw Presyberian ELC is a family affair – I went there as a child and both of our girls, now ages 4.5 and 1.5, have been going since they were 12 weeks old. The ELC staff and teachers form such a special bond with our kiddos and I know that when I drop the girls off in the mornings, they are going to be happy and well taken care of. I just asked my oldest what her favorite part about school is and, with a big smile, she said “my friends and teachers”. It’s evident that she feels like the ELC is an extension of home, where she is safe and loved. To this day, my mom still sees my former daycare teacher out and about in Shaler and she always asks how I am doing. It makes me happy to think that when my girls are grown up, we will likely continue to run into some of the great people who made such a wonderful impact on their early years.”

“My children have been attending the Before and After school program through Glenshaw Presbyterian Early Learning Center for years. They always make sure to communicate with me in a timely fashion and the staff are always so kind with the kids. It is a great place to make sure my kids get safety on and off their bus.”

“Glenshaw Early Learning Center has been a second home for my children for the past 2 years. It is not easy to leave your kids with someone, but this center makes me feel beyond comfortable. The staff is personable, respectful, detail oriented and you can tell they truly care about my kids. The director has also gone above and beyond to ensure the children are safe, provided with many learning opportunities and fun filled events! Recently, the zoo came to the center and my son could not stop talking about it for weeks. I love that they take it a step further to provide them with these special moments they might not always get the chance to do!
The new system that allows us to see what is occurring during their day, is an added bonus! I enjoy getting pictures of crafts or activities my two year old is participating in. It has also been very helpful for my 4 month old to check when he had a bottle or napped last. Overall, this center is phenomenal.”

“My one-year-old has had such a positive experience at the Early Learning Center. I can tell that the staff truly care about her and want to see her thrive. Every day she is greeted with warm smiles from the staff, and they are very attentive to her needs. My daughter is always happy when we drop her off and pick her up. I would recommend the ELC in a heartbeat, and I feel extremely grateful to have such a center in our community.”
